Awus Art Gallery is located within the Visitor Information Centre, and plays host to local artists and creatives whose works showcases the character and beauty of Norfolk Island.
Since its soft opening in late 2024, the Gallery has become a hub for art enthusiasts and visitors alike. Thanks to its location within the Visitor Information Centre, the gallery is open every day, ensuring high visibility and interest, offering artists an excellent platform from which to showcase and sell their work.
Call for Local Artwork Submissions
Council is seeking expressions of interest from local artists to display their airwork in the gallery to expand on our current collection.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Artwork Types: We welcome a variety of mediums but are particularly interested in original works that reflect or are inspired by the local culture, landscapes and community.
- Display and Sale: Artworks will be displayed prominently and made available for sale, providing artists with both exposure and potential income.
