Quarry Closed to Allow Rock Recovery Activities

Youngs Road Quarry will be closed to unauthorised persons while Council clears several large boulders that resulted from the controlled blast at the site on Friday 30 August.
The blast created a large amount of rubble which remains highly susceptible to rock fall, and the closure will remain in place now and during the period of rock recovery that follows to ensure public safety. .
